To Klarinet readers...

I took Dan up for his Mozart and Math lecture tour about 5 years ago
and it was wonderful. He also was kind enough to speak informally to
our instrumental majors about his friendship with Percy Grainger. The
faculty (across campus) still comment on that evening's formal lecture!

Besides, he is a blast to spend time with! Go raid your department's
piggy banks for this one.

I'll be lecturing for several days in Iowa in April 2005 and
driving both ways on I80. If anyone on the approximate route is
interested in inviting me to speak on both "The Mozart
Forgeries," and "Opus Ultimum," please contact me privately for
dates and costs. For thosw with a lousy understanding of
geography, the general area will cover Reno, Salt Lake City,
Cheyenne, Laramie, Lincoln, Omaha, up to but not crossing the
Mississippi. And I'll consider anything 100 miles on either side
of I80.

You buy the pizza.
