Sorry to hear this. Ironically, I was experimenting with a new computer toy
to transfer tracks from an LP (some of us still own lots of them) to my
laptop, since my main computer isn't anywhere near the stereo system. The
recording I was using to test the recording device is a compilation of Artie
Shaw tracks from the 30s and 40s. I don't know when he died, but I may well
have been listening to his music when he passed away.
