Unless you are really stuck on spending an awful lot of money, you might
consider a Vito. They have a wider bore, and with an open mouthpiece
and softer reed are able to project quite nicely. Widely available, and
affordable enough that it wouldn't hurt too much if you find jazz
playing not to your liking.
