I can't believe that in such a complete assortment of doodads, I don't see
that you carry a thingamabob...I never leave home without making sure I have
one in a small padded thingum, especially for flea market trips.
But by gosh, you covered eveything else I can think of.
;>)
On my most recent trip (for you who know saxes) I picked up a Martin
"Searchlights" Handcraft tenor sax, mint physical condition (it needs a
repad) with an nice old MC Gregory mouthpiece and a reed clipper I've never
seen before, labeled 'Elton', in a little leather pouch. Got it ALL for $20.
Once in awhile you happen to be in the right place at the right time. I have
already been offered $300 for the mouthpiece. I have been collecting Martin
saxes for twenty years, and this is the last model I needed, so it's a
keeper.
