I don't have empirical evidence but this seems very unlikely. Pitch changes
in warming up are mainly because of the air column temperature changing from
cold to warm, with a corresponding reduction in the average density of the
air. Expansion of the material is a very small effect (and opposite to the
effect of air density). Thermal conductivity and specific heat of the
material could affect the warming up period (I guess it might take longer to
warm up?), but not the eventual result. This looks like a snake oil claim.
