Accordions?

Some instruments are more prone than others to being teased. The same
holds true for some professions. You hear more jokes about lawyers
than about fast food cooks, even though I wager there are more fast food
cooks on this planet than there are lawyers, and our legal system would
be meaningless without lawyers.

I'm as guilty as the next person of jesting about accordions and
bagpipes and digeridoos. Therefore I shouldn not throw stones.
But....

When special music is needed to honor dead heroes, we frequently turn to
the bagpipes. (Think about the 9/11 parades.)

Cajun music is fine music, and its sound cannot be produced without an
accordion.

"Music Man" and Sousa without trombones?

...and so forth.

I needed to say this,

Thank you
