Hi Mark well your e-mail warmed my heart even though I was born in Boston
and have a very "Yankee" accent as many folks told me when I lived in
Atlanta in the early 90's I did fall in love with that city and it's
orchestra (Yoel Levi was the conductor then).
I even took a part time job fund raising and selling the regular season tkts
and the summer pops at Chastain park (spelling??) with the ASO!! My thing
was jazz and sax playing then (Buckhead).
Great times, many great concerts. I saw Eddie Daniels do the homage to Benny
Goodman concert (WOW) and a night with Henri Mancini (one of my heros for
sure).
SO just to say best of luck!!! My brother lives in Woodstock, GA and I still
have many friends there. If my money situation gets better I will vist
Atlanta in 2005 (I live in Brasil now).
I became a friend of Tony Carere and bought reeds, methods and accessories
at his store in Dunwoody.
Abe
