Subj: [kl] Atlanta Symphony to record music of Golijov for Deutsche Grammophon

Dear Klarinet friends:

Although this isn't specifically about clarinet, I thought it would be
of interest to those of you familiar with the clarinet music of Osvaldo
Golijov (such as "The Dreams and Prayers of Isaac the Blind," recorded
by David Krakauer on clarinet, bass clarinet, and basset horn with the
Kronos Quartet on Nonesuch). Interestingly, Kronos Quartet will also
have a track on the first of the CDs mentioned below.

Here goes...

The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and Chorus is part of a two-year project
to record music of Osvaldo Golijov for Deutsche Grammophon. No, they're
not ceasing to record for Telarc! but this limited project to record 2
CDs with DG is a very special news. And it's already underway.
