Agreed, and well-put. This whole string has me doing what so many of the
discussions on this list do...thinking about ALL the different thoughts,
techniques and such I heard and saw from teachers over the years, sorting
out what I remember working and what didn't. It's easy to discard a process
that 'works' to try a new one. But then it's just as easy to forget to go
back to what worked by continually trying new things. It does make me
thankful I have always been a note-taker, and was constantly writing things
down during lessons, and that I kept all those notes.
