Absolutely.

So we should take issue with what follows, if necessary. Additionally, we
should be much more vigilant about scrutinizing the concepts presented by
people who say "other people should...".

But arguing about how it is said seems like a waste of energy, at least to me.

To dismiss ideas only because of how they are presented seems to me just as
bad as accepting ideas only because someone famous presented them. I, for
one, am quite interested to hear anything Harold Wright had to say
regardless of how he said it. This in no way means that I will accept what
he said as the one true and only gospel of the clarinet (as if such a thing
even exists).
