I am totally at agreement here with the above posting...too often I see
students
who are really playing either on too soft a set up...or some ridiculously
hard set up.
In fact, I am an advocate of the medium reed...A REED that is too hard is
simply put dull a
and airy...a soft reed flat, squally and uncontrollable.

Mouthpieces have to be considered a primary area of concern to any player,
and
the solution is of course making sure you are able to match reeds to your
"mouthpiece"
with ease and reliability...
