I'd like to make a request, that if you're going to take the topic so off of
the subject line, please change it, so I don't have to weed through this.

I'd sure like to see some higher power explain how come we never seem to
hear from Jimmy Lee except when he's fulminating about off-topicness and
saying he's out of here again. Now, this is a serious, philosophical
inquiry: Where does he go? And how does he keep on leaving, after he's
already gone? Is Jimmy a higher being from a parallel dimension accessed
via a rift in the space-time continuum? Or he caught in an historetic loop
that always brings him back to a point in time when somebody's posting
something he doesn't like? Or are we all caught in a chronic historesis
but we don't fully realize we're in it because our memories cycle back
along the loop, too? If somebody plays a clarinet note into this
historesis, do the volume and pitch of the note change if it passes us or
we pass it? (*Can* it pass us or we pass it?) Instead of flying off the
planet into the silent black void of outer space, does a tone caught in the
historesis sound forever, sort of like a super-attenuated cosmic fart?
Enquiring minds want to know.

Then again, maybe they don't.
