Hi gang -
I have a Selmer Centered Tone on eBay at
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=3763664348&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT
And I decided to try something. Has anyone ever played a horn they wanted
to sell and put it up? LOL I guess if you were insecure about your
sound....but I figured the horn needs help to sell because it has a few
issues, including a small crack on the bottom joint. It really IS a nice
instrument, it's just that people want spotless or nothing.
Anyway, here I was, sitting on the couch trying to keep the horn together
(barrel was really wobbly and of course I didn't have any tape handy) and I
told my son "turn the camera on and point it at the dog, and I'll play a few
measures so someone gets an idea of how this sounds." So that's how it
sounds when it's wobbly, imagine what it will sound like when a barrel fits!
What do you think? Is it a good idea or not? Should I leave up the video?
LOL
Lynn
