I want to thank again all those that responded to my questions, both on the
list and off. As always, the knowledge of this group of people has been very
insightful and helpful.

Having this kind of knowledge definitely will make it easier to know how to
proceed in purchasing a flute and also how to approach it given that my main
instrument will always be clarinet. A couple of folks even pointed me to
other lists and groups that cater to doublers and flutist.

I also want to give everyone a heads up that I have listed a 1962 R-13 Eb
clarinet for sale on the Woodwind classifieds to help pay for this new
purchase and would want to see this prized clarinet go to someone on the
list.
