I doubt you'll get this in time, but I know they do have a ton of stuff to
try. I don't know if you have to be "somebody" to try a truckload of stuff
but I know it's there. My saxophone teacher at CMU was a bassoonist in the
Philharmonic, but he oddly enough started on the clarinet. He was in there
trying mouthpieces one day and he found one he liked and the guy there just
said keep it. He said those things are actually so cheap to make that he
just let him keep it. As a side note, he said Lenny PIckett was in the room
next to him trying the new Vandoren metal tenor mouthpieces. He said he
just couldn't play anything until PIckett stopped becuase it was just the
loudest thing he had ever heard. He had a ton of good stories like that.

P.S. What are you doing in NY this weekend. Also, Philly is playing at the
Kennedy Center a week from Monday and I am GOING. Later.
