Subj: [kl] Klarinet List Technical Question
Date: Mon, 15 Nov 2004 23:11:46 -0500

For Mark or for anyone:

Why do we receive list messages sometimes that have no content, just an
'Original Message'? I receive them regularly, and I am left wondering what the
person wanted to say.

Abraham Gamboa wrote one yesterday, with respect to "Re: [kl] More music
files ready for download", and Oliver Seely questioned it later by asking, "No
message was received, simply a reprint of what I had posted to KLARINET. Did you
mean to send something?" . 'Cadenza @-----.net' wrote one on the subject
"RE: [kl] Embrouchure/reed-strength/clarinet question" at 11:47 AM PST today,
again, with no new content, just the old message. I have always assumed these
messages were some artifact of my own setup or service; I only write now
because at least Oliver experienced the same thing once. Perhaps there is something
about which list members need educating?
