I just got my copy of Vuelta and I didn't think Shindell could ever top
"Somewhere Near Patterson" as his song writing and arrangements keep getting
better and better.

Nice touch with the group Puente Celeste. As someone , me, who played
clarinet in high school and I took lessons with the first chair of the
Washington National Ballet orchestra, what a nice touch with the Bass
Clarinet in this group, as you hardly hear a demand for a Bass Clarinet,
which is deeper in sound and bigger than a regular clarinet. Never knew
that a Bass Clarinet could be so jazzy! I belive they have a website
www.pueneceleste.com

Anyway, when this CD came out, Borders had it featured as one of the CD's
you can listen to. I have heard several of the songs before this CD came
out, as Richard was singing some of them at concerts as he explained about
the Taxi's in Argentina. So before buying it, I gave a listen to all the
tracks and I wasn't impressed at the time!

So, this October 31, we saw Richard in concert and he sang alot from the new
CD, of course. And I liked what I heard.

So, I got the CD two days ago at Borders, wondering is it going to be one of
those CD's that you play once and that is it, as all of Richard music is
wonderful. Plus, a good friend just got the CD and told me it is good as
advertised!

Well, I got the CD and I haven't stopped playing it! It is that good. I
guess the headphones didn't do this CD justise! On my stereo system with
the two sets of Bose AHM-5 cubes, it is just amazing, the songs and the
arrangements and how well it all blends in. And the quality of the songs
and lyrics!

So, now how is Richard going to top this CD? O:)!
