I forgot to mention, I prefer the B-foot, also.

Only one thing I can add here: One thing I noticed a number of flutists
doing on the flutenet list: the more expensive flutes were out of
reach for so many, that a number of people who had fairly decent
intermediate level instruments ordered new headjoints, which seemed to
work well for them.
