I can see why she might wish this when the purpose of the debate becomes
something other than to illuminate.

I'll rest my case here, lest we spend another 20 emails arguing back and
forth enlarging our egos while simultaneously discouraging other people
from posting for fear of wrath brought upon them or fear of causing us to
spin into yet another debate. Feel free to have the last word.
