What situation, I want to ask?

The point is, if I were a young person, I might not be able to profusely
apologise; and if I were a band director, I might think the situation was
different from what the parent thought.

But we're talking about what *you* seem to want to assert, independent of any
evidence or context.

It's the *third* thing about you I don't respect;-)
