There is the story of quite a well known French film composer who was
recording and conducting in London. During a break, he happened to pick up a
clarinet and have a little 'tootle'. This was noticed by the clarinet owner,
who promptly came up to the offending composer and said, "That wasn`t too
wise maestro, as I have AIDS!" End of story, but the Frenchman is still
alive to this day.
