Thanks for the reminder that there's a lot of good music in the California
Central Valley. (That's the Fresno Kurt is referring to.) I will remember the
name of John Chookasian. I assume he has Armenian roots?

And Kurt, thanks for the reminder of Clement Hutchinson. I didn't study with
him as long as you did, but the clarity of those months is important to me
now. For those of you who don't know me or Mr. Hutchinson, I speak as an
amateur remembering my first exposure to lessons from a professional clarinetist.
