Hi Kurt,

I live in Cyprus, and our band recently got a new first clarinetist. As he and I are the _only_ _two_ in the band with tuners(!), it falls to us to arange people to tune. He has started insisting on tuning always to 442, whereas before I was always going for 440. When I asked why, he said something to do with the humidity. Is humidity a factor normally taken into account ("man it's sticky, ok guys, today, 444!") or is he misled? Oh well. At least we _are_ tuning now. When I first joined it was awful. *shudders*

Cheers,

Dan
