But that is not what happened. I have worked in Intelligence. It is like
putting together a jigsaw puzzle with many pieces missing. With the pieces
they had, they thought they knew what the picture was. But finding out in
retrospect that you were in error does not make your previous statement a
lie. And, quite frankly, I STILL think they had the weapons. They may be
in Syria or someplace now, but they HAD them. We just did not have the
information about WHERE they went and WHEN. And if Saddam was NOT a threat
to the world, why don't we just release him from prison and give him his
country back? Would that make it better?
