I wonder if anyone out there shares a problem which I have ? namely a
cracking of the skin at the corners of the mouth. It seems as though the
sharp stubble hairs in the very corners of the mouth tend to scratch/
irritate the skin during the "folding of the skin in embouchure forming.
Close shaving does not seem to cure the problem. I assume this condition
will apply to elderly
male players. Or have we a "Bearded Lady "poster ?
