***She has a private tutor. I think this is part of
the reason she wants to expand her horizons. Her
skills has increased so much till shes playing things
way ahead of her age group. That was why her need to
play those three octaves like she needed to because
she didn't want a third chair position just because
she's a freshman. It seems she knows those three
octaves of the scales he is requiring for try outs on
chair positions, I however, won't know what she did
till she comes home today.

I'm sure that her tutor could help her with that. He
seems to be one of those that can play any instrument
with ease. It's amazing really. Him and my duaghter
have established such a good teacher/student
relationship she has just blossomed with him. She's
become much more confident too. She just seems to go
through fluctuations with her music though. I just
thnk she gets bored, and part of that boredom stems
from less than favorable conditions at school when ya
have more students screwing off then listening to the
instructor at the front of the room, or students not
getting it done during a session. It can be very
frustrating that is for sure.
