All probably very necessary in a clarinet from the late 20's or early 30's.

And these kinds of things take lots of time to address properly.

The other thing to reflect on, is that in some cases, there is so much wear
that it is impossible to get a really worn clarinet to feel like a fairly new
instrument. I get this ALL the time from high school kids (in affluent
areas). They play on brand new Buffet BB clarinets but use 40 year old loaner, or
Buffet E11 A clarinets. You know, I'm not a magician, I can't make an
intermediate model or a 50 year old Selmer feel and play as well as a brand new top
of the line clarinet!
