Pot. Kettle. Black. I would elaborate but you have asked me not to voice my
opinions on your own opinions. True irony.

I love the music of Clifford Brown (sorry, I know he didn't play clarinet,
but the point is independent of instrument). I used to think the greatest
thing in the world would be to hear and own every recording he ever made.
This would be true bliss, and who doesn't aspire to true bliss? One day I
realized that I did, in fact, own every recording he ever made. Much to my
surprise, rather than true bliss, I was sad. I was sad because I realized I
could no longer look forward with joy to the next new (to me) Clifford
Brown solo.

I cannot begin to tell you how much I fear the day where I feel I have
nothing left to learn about playing or teaching the clarinet. Read the
literature I recommended. You might be surprised and you certainly would be
more qualified to dispute me. Unless you really have nothing left to learn.
If this is truly the case, I feel sorry for you.
