What are they worth, Buffet C, Kaspers and Chedevilles ??????

IF they currently play great then they are worth $500-1000. This is a
big IF. I have been fortunate to work on many Kaspers and Chedevilles
and many of them are not good at all...at first. They do have the
potential to be great, but there is no guarantee. We players have a
different sound concept and playing concept than the 1940's--1970's.
The generic Charlie Chedevilles Buffet C's, old rubber Bundy's, old
Noblets take huge amounts of time to remake the chamber floor and
window shape. They can be made to play much better but maybe not better
than many of the current new custom mouthpieces available.

The Buffet C's I buy for $25-45 used and sometimes they turn out rather
good. But...

You folks buy these than Walter, Clark, Brad, Roger, myself and others
get them in the mail to "fix." 'Course, that is what WE do!

Happy hunting.
