It does indeed have a crown next to the C and if that means a
"Chedeville" I will withdraw the mouthpiece from the sale and
sell it separately. What is such a thing worth? And please give
me a little more information so that I can write an intelligent
(7-page, 6000 word) description of the thing being sold.

Dan - you mention in the blurb on Ebay that the Cousenon has a
"Buffet C
Face" mouthpiece. If memory serves me correctly, there would be
a small
crown engraved next to the "C"?

If so, this mouthpiece would have been made by Chedeville, and
could well be
worth much more than the clarinet it's sits on. Of course, if
it's
thrashed, then it's of little use.

You should think of selling separately, if only so I can bid on
it. (I
don't need another Buffet!)
