As an option, Selmer will supply Bundy/Selmer USA clarinets to dealers with
the HS* mouthpiece substituted for an additional charge (and Selmer student
saxes with C* mouthpieces). My old employer used to do this all the time,
since most of the local band directors preferred this setup. He later
quit, since it made it hard to compete on price with our largest
competitor, who did not.
