Adam, earlier today I was talking off-list with two persons about my own
feelings when I was criticized (many months ago) for things that I had
posted, and the criticisms cut me deeply.

So now I find myself on the other end of the sword's point, and I've
decided that I mis-spoke.

There was one particular sentence in one of your posts that elicited my
response, but my apology wouldn't truly be an apology
if I proceeded to justify my own remark.

So I won't. I hope you'll accept my apology.
