Hey, it's a lot better than my Italian.... or sometimes my English! I used
Babelfish to sent my request in Italian. It probably wasn't as good as

Interesting instruments, especially the G. Verdi model. No barrel, with
replaceable upper ferrules below the mouthpiece, and a bell that screws on.
Orsi even makes a darling metal =
clarinet, just like the one I began on, back in the '50s. It's a Boehm and
is available in lacquer finish or in Sterling silver (+20%). Great for the
Dixieland player, or someone who just wants to shake up his orchestra
conductor. I wonder how good the German system clarinets are? Better than
the Amati's, I hope.

Just played the Strauss Serenade, Gounod Petite Symphony and the Mozart Gran
Partitta (Dan, spelling? You missed your pizza) today. Good concert
overall. But just a bit too much playing. I'm soaking my chops in a
Martini on the rocks. It helps......
