what is the best edition/publication/book thing of it to buy??? I have read
there are lot who mess it up and what not...so what is the best one???

The Rose Studies are considered the Clarinetists Bible. They were the
standard audition materials for the Indiana University School of Music
auditions (sight reading as well) , Northwestern University auditions for
Robert Marcellus, and many more, I'm sure.
Bernard Portnoy used them extensively with undergraduate students as did
Earl Bates and Henry Gulick. When I feel the need to play again, I always
refer back to the Rose etudes.
