Subj: [kl] Selmer St. Louis and Question for NYC Listers
Date: Sat, 9 Oct 2004 17:11:48 -0400

Hello everyone,

I've tried out the new St. Louis Selmer model and I have to say the instrument was nice. It reminded me a lot of the sound of the R-13 but the intonation was very good and the scale was mostly even. It is a very visually pleasing instrument, having both silver and gold plating on the tenon rings and an equally nice case (extremely soft on the inside, not that this matters at all, but it was nice to touch). That and the price is suprisingly (under 2200) That is my impression of this instrument, and now I have a question for the listers in the NYC area.

Does anyone know who in this area sells Signature and Recital clarinets. I attempted to locate these instruments, but I failed miserably. Any hints or clues would be greatly appreciated.
