I was reading a NY Times article today about how some of the pit members
play their instruments in a seperate room, the music is "mixed" with the
other players and then broadcast through the house speakers. This is being
done because then those pit spaces can be used by paying customers and
audiences have become used to "speaker music". Has anyone come into contact
