Audrey, you can buy Sterisol in any music store. It comes concentrated for
"dilution and dunking" or in spray bottles already diluted (and not as good
a deal.) I spray it on student's mouthpieces before and after checking out
their setup and reed selection, and it has stood me in good stead.

Subject: [kl] Playing while sick
How do I kill germs on the reed and mouthpiece after playing when I have
a bad cold? I don't want to reinfect myself. I could use soap on the
mouthpiece ( hard rubber) but what about the reed?
Any suggestions?
Thanks
Audrey
