Position Announcement

University of Evansville, Evansville, Indiana, Assistant Professor of =
Music - Clarinet (Full-time, tenure track position beginning fall, 2005)

Responsibilities

- Teach studio clarinet and related course work (literature of the =
applied major, pedagogy of the applied major, clarinet ensemble)
- Teach in one or more of the following secondary areas (band, music =
management, music technology, theory)
- Maintain an active performance schedule (including Woodwind Quintet)
- Additional responsibilities will include academic advising, service =
on departmental and university committees as appropriate, recruitment of =
prospective students, and other appropriate responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

Doctorate or ABD preferred; MM required. University level teaching =
experience desirable.

community of more than 300,000 in southwestern Indiana. It offers a =

sciences, engineering, business, nursing, physical therapy and =
