Each to his or her own, of course, but now that I've watched & heard
them.... WOW !! 'New' music which is simultaneously avante garde and
tuneful and not unpleasantly weird.

The piece with which they struggle with is a round for banjo & double
bass in 15/8.

I couldn't help chuckling --- apropos of recent Klarinet comments about
Sabine Meyer substituting instruments --- that Fleck and Meyer played
some Bach and Beethoven on the DVD, and Fleck said (not verbatim, but as
best I can remember): "There's nothing wrong with playing Beethoven on
the banjo. Beethoven would've done it too if he could've."
