I urgently need to get some music (on CD) for a ballet choreography. I know
this is not a clarinet question, but I do know that members of this group
will most probably be able to help me. The piece is called Mignon (Gavotte)
composed by Ambroise Thomas.

I don't know where this piece fits into opera life, or how to go about
getting a classical CD, to be ordered via internet! I only have the piano
sheet music for the piece, which is about 45 years old. I know Thomas
composed an opera with "Mignon" as a title, but I do not know if this
"Gavotte", which is the piece I need, is part of it.

Some light on the matter from you clarinet folks will be much appreciated.
