Sorry. I did not read carefully. I thought she was just
substituting basset horn for clarinet. Well, it's not much
better but it is understandable. The tessitura will work but the
chords played on the viola will be lost in the basset horn. I
think that some of the changes she makes out of practicality,
need to be left alone.

But notice that the performance is with clarinet _and_ basset
horn, so
presumably the basset horn is taking the viola part.
