Hi everyone,

A few solo performances that may interest those in the
area:

This Friday Oct.1 I'm joining a string orchestra to
playing Ravel's Introduction and Allegro for Harp,
Flute and Clarinet and strings, and I'm also doing the
Rabaud Solo de Concours. It's in Milton at St.Paul's
United Church in Milton, 123 Main Street at James
(8pm).

Sunday Oct.3 there's a free concert in tribute to
composer Lothar Klein. I'm playing his Virtuoso Music
for Clarinet and Timpani. Flutist Susan Hoeppner and
clarinetist Robert Riseling are also on the bill.
Walter Hall, Faculty of Music University of Toronto,
at 3pm.

Finally I'm doing a (real!) solo recital in the free
Thursday Noon Series on October 7 (at noon :)). I'm
playing Bb, Bass and my new Ab piccolo clarinet, plus
alto and tenor saxophone in works by Kovacs (Hommage a
Weber and Richard Strauss), a new piece I'm
writing/improvising for the Ab, and jazz tunes by
Coleman Hawkins and Eric Dolphy. Goes for an hour over
the lunch break also in Walter Hall at UofT.
