Kurt -

Bundy clarinets may not look great, but they're indestructible and will
survive infinite abuse. With a decent mouthpiece, they play well, too.

However, the original design had a nasty flaw -- an extremely short
needle spring for the throat A key, which broke every few months. In my
opinion, it would be a disservice to students and their parents to sell
these instruments without replacing the needle spring with a flat
spring. Since you're rebuilding them, I would strongly recommend that
you make the fix.
