It's not bad. Needs a little work but could be brought out under
the "Forgies for Dummies" title.

But insofar as immortality, as you suggest it might give me,
recognize that everybody gets 15 minutes of immortality.

Dan, the tactics you recommend may produce a brief flurry of
sales ---
similar to a Hollywood tell-all book that ultimately is
meaningless.
But consider your own position as a Mozart scholar. You want
immortality, not 15 minutes of vapid notoriety. Try this on for
size:

"Learn the secrets of forgery! This respected reference
manual,
written by a man who knows, gives a complete recipe for forging
$2
million music manscripts! It explains why music forging musical
manuscripts can be more rewarding than forging literature or
paintings
or statues! This invaluable text includes carefully explained
and easy
to understand sales strategies and methods of escaping
prosecution as
well as tactics for dealing with your partners --- not to mention
a
thorough consideration of the conditions under which forgery is
not
necessarily unethical, and even contractual escape clauses that
will
protect you in case of unexpected events."
