And I agree with this as well. I think it's sometimes a "warm fuzzy' thing
with some people like my friend. He prefers the warm sound as what he became
fond of/used to in the early days of home stereo equipment, and sticks with
it. He does have current gear as well, but he goes back to the old stuff to
listen to albums and reel-to-reel stuff regularly.
