I remember hearing an interview a few years ago with a concert
violinist, it may have been Joshua Bell. He said that if he was in a
hotel and wished to practice, he would turn up the TV very loud while
he was practicing. It seems that people were much more tolerant of the
noise of the TV than to the sound of the violin. Interesting...
