I heard about this a couple of weeks ago, and I'm not surprised.

Their main store had recently moved from Bryn Mawr, Pa. to King of Prussia, Pa.
The new location was hard to find, in an area that suffers from horrendous
traffic congestion, and frankly, with the plethora of online sites for ordering
sheet music, why would I bother dealing with all that crap? I'm guessing a lot
of people felt the same way.

Plus, I always had trouble getting a salesperson when I had questions (that was
at the old location. I never went to the new location, but I can't imagine
anything changed in that regard). Oh, there were always plenty of them around,
but whatever else they were doing always seemed to be more important than
helping the customer standing in front of them. And on the few occasions when
I did special order something, the order would be screwed up.

Earlier this year I was looking for some materials that Presser said they could
order for me and I could have them in a week or two. I ordered online instead
and had them in two days.

I for one won't miss them.
