I don't think anyone can really answer any of your questions with any
confidence. People tend to accommodate dental problems to a surprising
extent, although the instability caused by the changes you went through
would have made accommodation hard while the changes were taking place. But
I don't think the answers need make any difference to you at this point. If,
with your current dental condition, you can produce a sound that pleases
you, then what happened years ago doesn't really matter.

As you practice and, perhaps, study with a knowledgeable teacher, you will
gain control. I'm not sure what you mean by "perfect pitch" - that term has
a different meaning to musicians than what I think you intend to describe -
but in any case, I don't know anyone who really plays perfectly in tune all
the time. While to be able to do so is a laudable goal, the best most of us
can do is somewhat less than "perfect." Your pitch will improve as your
embouchure strengthens.

A good teacher can help identify problems in your embouchure or equipment
and suggest solutions, avoiding some of the confusion and possible
frustration that unguided experimentation can lead to.

Good luck. "Today is the first day of the rest of your life." Go on from
today.
