One might wish to choose Yanigasawa's 901 series instead of a "replica."
The 901 intermediate series is the same body and tone holes as their =
premium
991 series, with no ribbing around the posts, and only one arm to the =
bell
key cups, and a little less structural bracing. This could be the =
finest
intermediate horn available.

The saxophones are supposed to be replicas of
Yanagasawa's lineup. I have heard that Antigua made
very capable (their upper end horns especially)
instruments compared to their counterparts at Yani for
signifigantly less money.=20
