Curtis - you must have gotten a really bad Gigliotti Mouthpiece!! I
would have said the same thing about the B45 (which I played in 9th
grade).
Personally, I would never now play a "stock" mouthpiece. But a good
stock mouthpiece will beat out a bad hand faced one.

And yes, Professional players usually know quite a bit about a variety
of setups as we have tried many in the endless hunt for perfection of
equipment.

I've never really figured out where professionals get all their

best, someone can tell you how great *their* combination is, but only

people here will be able to give you a broad representation of
everything that
is available. It's staggeringly complex, IMHO.
